I loved Every Little Kiss by Kendra Leigh Castle! With a perfect mix of romance, humor and real life, I was quickly immersed in Emma and Seth's lives. I loved these two characters. Emma is unique, strong and determined. She has her own way and view on life, her experiences making her who she is today. She's cautious and difficult for most people to really know. Seth is different though. He is intrigued by her from the first time he sees her. When they actually meet it is highly entertaining and sweet! Emma is determined not to let him behind her brick walls, but Seth doesn't give up as easily as most people. What follows is a well paced, emotional journey as Seth and Emma struggle to give up what they think they want versus what their hearts are telling them.

Seth and Emma are powerful and lovable main characters. Kendra writes them so well I felt like I was right there with them. They are believable, frustrating (Emma!), and complement each other so well it seems they are meant to be together. But being together means taking risks, and the decision to do that is not an easy one, nor one that is automatic for either of them. Their struggles, hurts, and hopes brought them to life. I loved the maturity of their characters and that things are not easy for either of them for different reasons.

There are great secondary characters and a good look at small town life in Harvest Cove in Every Little Kiss. All of that adds dimension and realism to the plot, strongly supporting the main characters.

Every Little Kiss was a book I was meant to read. Well paced, easy to read and feel a part of, Kendra took me away to another place for a great time. I'd highly recommend Every Little Kiss to any romance reader!

Every Little Kiss is the second installment in the Harvest Cove series and was a delightful read. Kendra Leigh Castle has embarked on a contemporary romance series and has produced a small town with interesting characters and dynamic relationships between sisters, mother-daughters and friends.

Emma Henry has always strived to be the good daughter and live an ordinary life unlike her sister and mother. All was well until she got a little drunk at her sister’s bachelorette party and created one hell of a dance that hit YouTube and definitely changed the course of her life. Emma runs an Event Planning business and does her best to be part of the community and be quite ordinary. Her family history is a bit eccentric and she feels it’s better to conform and not make waves. Unfortunately her drunken display causes her to be seen in a new light and she doesn’t know how to handle it. Emma is a very likeable character but hasn’t learned to let people into her life and be friendly.
Living a solitary life has been working for her but she senses things are changing and doesn’t handle things so well when they do. She has real fears of rejection and of loss and learns to cope with them in her own manner. Seth is attractive but unsettles her when he isn’t forthcoming with information about himself. What intrigues me about Emma and Seth is that they are more similar than they think they are, and are so right for each other.

Seth Anderson has moved to Harvest Cove to start anew after his many tours in the military, and is slowly acclimating to its inhabitants, especially one pretty little event planner. Being the good cop that he is, he helps Emma home the night of the bachelorette party and stays the night. Rumors fly but they don’t faze him much but he considers asking Emma out. Things go bumpy in the beginning but they slowly start a relationship between them that don’t freak either of them out, considering they both are afraid of long term. Seth’s past is slowly revealed and it’s understandable that has issues but nothing that couldn’t be worked out. Seth is a flawed hero and comes across as an ordinary person but definitely can say that still waters run deep about him.

Emma and Seth grow as individuals, and as a couple, in their story and deliver a wonderful contemporary romance. There are the usual miscues every couple faces and for the most part they deal with them as they come along. Emma sees more change when she becomes friends with her coworkers and others in her line of business and realizes she can have a little fun in her life. It is good to see Sam her sister get ready for her wedding, and other characters come forward in probably future storylines that definitely spark my interest. What I really love about this story is the writing the author creates in Every Little Kiss. She creates small dialogues between Emma and other characters that speak from the heart and hit it spot on. Every Little Kiss is a heartwarming romance that any romance fan would enjoy.

Kendra Leigh is one of my favorite authors. She did not disappoint. What a great series. I would definitely recommend this book and others from her.
I really liked the first book of this series and Emma and Seth's story was a good read, too. I'll be getting the third book to see what's next.
I love that I can laugh n cry n worry n celebrate with them! A definite "Nora Roberts Romance" but with true normal life experiences made it hit home for me. I liked following trough with her sister Sam and Jake's wedding and then Emily n Seth struggle with their demons and find Love is worth fighting for every second. I don't know how I can wait for the next book...Summoned can't get here soon enough. This book is a must read ....I haven't read through two books so fast in my life, I enjoyed every minute of reading but I couldn't put the book down...I had ...had to know. This is one you tell your Best friend,your Mom, your sister a must read. Okay I was so excited I told a perfect stranger about the book. Love it!
What a great sequel to 'For the Longest Time'. I truly like the way this author writes and I was thrilled that she obviously took her time in writing this story. So many authors today are churning out series without regard to style, detail and editing. This book is about the sister of the h from the first book (she was a secondary character in that one). We know she's an uptight Event Planner and needs to be in control. The H is a cop, who was previously in the military and had issues as a result of what he'd experienced. Sounds like a recipe for disaster but as I said the author did such a great job and I was so invested in these guys getting their hea. If I say much more I won't do the story justice. I've already preordered the next in the series.
